Delete your account
Two ways to do this: from inside the app, which happens immediately, or by asking us, which is the route to use when the app is no longer on your phone.

From inside the app
Open Settings and tap Delete Account, the second of the two rows at the bottom. It asks you to type the word DELETE to confirm, then deletes the account immediately.
There is no waiting period and no undo. We do not flag the rows as deleted and keep them for thirty days — they are removed, and there is no copy left on our side to restore from.
Be sure it is the right row: Reset Pal sits directly above it and starts your Baddi over on that phone while keeping the account. That one is not destructive, and it does not delete anything of yours from our servers.
If you no longer have the app
Email hello@gnarlux.com from any address, with the subject Delete my account, and ask us to delete it. We will action the request within 30 days and write back to confirm when it is done.
To find your account we need your Account ID: open Settings → Account ID and tap it to copy. If you already uninstalled the app, check whether you wrote it down or sent it to us in an earlier message — it looks like a string of letters, numbers and dashes.
If you linked an Apple or Google account, tell us which one and the address it uses. That is enough for us to find you without the ID.
If you never linked anything and do not have the ID, we will not be able to identify your account. That is a consequence of how Baddi works rather than a policy: the identifier is random and exists only on your device, so once the app is gone there is nothing tying it to you, and no way for us to tell your anonymous account from any other. We would rather say that plainly than accept a request we cannot carry out.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes everything we hold for it:
- The account itself — the identifier, and any Apple or Google sign-in you had linked to it.
- Your Pal and its save — its name, appearance, personality, elements, the moves it knows, what it is wearing, its four care meters and its XP.
- Your credits and purchase records — your balance, and the ledger of what you bought, which is what makes credits restorable on a new phone.
- Your match history — the one-line records of finished arena matches filed against your account.
Credits you bought with real money are gone permanently. We cannot restore them afterwards, and there is nothing left on our side to refund against. If you have credits you have not spent yet, spend them before you delete the account.
What is not deleted, and why
The store's record of your purchases is not ours to delete. If you bought credits, the store that sold them keeps its own receipt for the transaction. That is its record, under its policy, and deleting your account with us does not remove it — nor can we act on it once our own ledger is gone. Refund requests go to the store, not to us.
Anything already on your phone stays until you remove it. The app wipes its local save when the account is deleted, and uninstalling clears the rest. Neither leaves a copy behind on the device.
Deleting some things but not the account
You do not have to delete the whole account to clear something out. Reset Pal in Settings builds a new Baddi on that phone and keeps your level, your credits and your collection. It touches nothing on our servers except the save itself.
For anything more specific — a single match record, a linked email — write to hello@gnarlux.com and tell us what you want removed rather than deleted outright.
What we keep, and for how long
After a deletion, nothing. Rows are removed rather than flagged, so there is no archive and no retention period to describe.
The one thing worth knowing is what happens if you simply stop playing without deleting: your save stays on our servers, filed under that anonymous identifier. If you never linked an account, it is data that happens to be yours rather than data anyone can connect to you. What we store, and for what purpose, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Gnarlux is established in Estonia, and deletion requests are handled under the rights the GDPR gives you — including the right to ask what we hold before you decide.
